We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Artist to join our Forza Horizon team on a contract basis. As a premier first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and most of all fun.
About Us:
We are a diverse team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to creating immersive gaming experiences. Our studio is based in Leamington Spa, with a hybrid work model in place. Relocation assistance is available if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in bringing new vehicles to Forza Horizon.
- Deliver high-quality 3D vehicle work that meets the artistic vision.
- Identify emerging risks and issues to raise with your Lead/Principal.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of modern 3D art techniques.
- Strong understanding of hard surface modeling, vehicle scale, form, and proportions.
- Experience using 3Ds Max or similar 3D packages.
- Excellent 2D texturing skills using Adobe Photoshop and Substance Designer.
- A methodical approach to work and quality.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Possess a 1st Class or 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant artistic degree or relevant experience from a similar industry.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the games industry and wider artistic industry developments.
- A professional work ethic and attitude.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A passion for vehicles, games, and motorsport.
