Job Overview

We are seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join our team and assist in the day-to-day activities on various major UK infrastructure projects. The Ferrovial Construction Graduate Development Programme is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with the site team to contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety standards and ensure quality on our projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collect client requirements and incorporate them into the project design.
  • Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage team performance, provide advice on resource allocation, and implement effective employee development and motivation strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English language proficiency.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Motivation to learn and add value to the team, role, and Graduate programme.
  • Commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft packages.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Engineering experience and CSCS Card.
