Teaching Position

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Loughton, Essex. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching in a Year 2 setting.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Assessing Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate students' progress regularly, maintaining accurate records of their academic performance.
  • Collaborative Working: Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support to Year 2 students.
  • School Events: Participate in school-related activities, such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings.
  • Safeguarding Policies: Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.

Requirements for this position include QTS or equivalent qualifications, a recognized teaching certification, and experience in teaching Year 2 in a mainstream primary or secondary school. The ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learning needs is also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This permanent contract comes with a competitive salary paid on a scale following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the Fringe of London area. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
