About the Role

The successful candidate will work directly with the UK&I MD and be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for setting the financial direction of the business. This includes creating, controlling, monitoring, and achieving performance to budget and monthly forecasts, as well as longer-term strategic plans for the UK&I and International Acquiring business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting financial targets and driving collaboration across functional areas to elevate financial management and reporting.
  • Reviewing and assessing all business cases requiring capital outlay, highlighting key benefits and risks.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of 15 people across FP&A and pricing, ensuring development and career progression opportunities.
  • Having a full understanding of regulatory obligations and liabilities, ensuring oversight of associated financial risks and mitigation of any issues.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Financial Director with a strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have 8 years plus PQE experience in relevant FP&A roles, with a curious and proactive outlook to problem resolution. They will be able to build relationships, influence, and communicate effectively managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
