Financial Crime Analyst Leader

About the Role:

The Insight Manager will be responsible for leading efforts to enhance financial crime management by improving data analysis and business intelligence in our Claims department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategies to mitigate financial loss and regulatory risks with a focus on anti-money laundering compliance.
  • Create and implement fraud prevention strategies, ensuring consistency with policies throughout the company.
  • Monitor threat and risk trends to direct financial crime strategy and advise risk discussions.
  • Lead projects to improve the company's ability to mitigate losses from financial crime.
  • Design and implement procedures for compliance with anti-money laundering legislation.
  • Collaborate with Financial Crime business leaders to maintain high-quality communications.

Requirements:

  • Technical understanding of MI data sources and analysis, threat / risk assessment and intelligence operations.
  • Knowledge of relevant AML and Proceeds of Crime legislation.
  • Broad knowledge of fraud / financial crime risk management for both insider and external fraud.
  • Ability to leverage an existing base of industry and law enforcement contacts.
