About the RoleThe Bid Manager is a key member of our team at Reed Talent Solutions, responsible for delivering high-quality submissions to our clients.
This role requires a strong understanding of our business and the ability to work closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure that our submissions meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Contract and Governance: Ensure that all contracts and governance requirements are met for our associates and suppliers.
- Associate Support: Provide support to our associates, acting as a first point of contact for contract and time-sheet queries.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits and ensure compliance with all accounts to maintain a high level of quality.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with our PMO, resource managers, account owners, and other stakeholders to manage key business requirements.
- Documentation and Quality: Maintain good process and quality of documentation to ensure that our associates and the business are well-informed.
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and ensure that they consistently meet their service level agreements.
- Expense and Insurance Management: Manage the process around expenses, insurance, and contract queries, and ensure that escalations are managed where risks occur.
- Risk Management: Manage expectations of account owners regarding risks to the business as a whole.
- Continuity of Service: Liaise with internal and external contacts and third-party suppliers to ensure continuity of service.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide professional service/support to internal stakeholders for all new and existing associates.
- Query Management: Respond to a range of queries in a timely fashion, channelling to the most appropriate area as and when required.
- Current and Future Clients: Build and maintain strong relationships with our current and future clients.
- Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with our internal account stakeholders to ensure that our submissions meet their needs.
- Reed Leadership Team: Collaborate with our Reed leadership team to ensure that our submissions align with our business goals.
- Client Compliance Teams: Liaise with our client compliance teams to ensure that our submissions meet their requirements.
- Support Supplier Network: Manage relationships with our support supplier network to ensure that they consistently meet their service level agreements.
- Reed Group Compliance Teams: Collaborate with our Reed group compliance teams to ensure that our submissions meet our group's requirements.
- External Suppliers: Manage relationships with our external suppliers for screening and compliance services.
- Experience: 3 years or more in bid management/presales.
- Design and Composition: Hands-on experience of designing and composing sales submissions.
- Pressure and Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task, working on several projects at any given time.
- Sales Strategies: Ability to assimilate sales strategies and offerings to market.
- Workshops and Win Themes: Experience of leading workshops to establish win themes.
- Proactivity: Proactive with the willingness to meet customer requirements.
- Shaping Bids: Experience of shaping bids, identifying win themes, SWOT analysis.
- Written English: Excellent standard of written English.
