About the Role

Fife Council is seeking a highly skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team in promoting children's learning, development and welfare within a nursery context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of children's learning plans and contribute to the implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence.
  • Promote inclusion, diversity and equality in the nursery setting.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for children.

Requirements

  • HNC Childhood Practice/Early Years Education & Childcare or SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A working knowledge of child development from birth to 5 years and the Curriculum for Excellence.
