Sales Account Manager

Job Summary
Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales engagements and leading complex sales cycles to meet and exceed your quota.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles to meet and exceed sales quota
- Work with internal partners and teams to best serve customers
- Initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
- Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments
- Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion of your territory
- Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for that specific account
- Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context
- Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners
- Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white-space territories and accounts
- Possess a successful track record selling complex solutions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
