CAD Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As a CAD Technician, you will work collaboratively with engineers on various projects, providing support with CAD-based drawings, managing document storage systems, and maintaining engineering databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support with CAD-based drawings to engineers.
  • Manage the document storage system, updating it with drawings and manuals.
  • Remove redundant drawings from the system and replace them as necessary.
  • Offer guidance and support to other CAD users on site.

Requirements:

  • A proactive team player with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The confidence to offer training and development to colleagues.
  • Organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Previous experience within a similar role using AutoCAD would be ideal.
