Job Title: DevOps Engineer - Cloud Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer - Cloud Expert to join our team at Playtech. As a key member of our land-based Casino team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of modern DevOps practices to help meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and services
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Write, review, and take responsibility for clear, concise technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
  • Experience with Azure / Google Cloud, Windows, and networking
  • Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Strong background in PowerShell scripting or similar
  • Experience with Terraform or other IaC provisioning
  • Previous experience of using automated software deployment tools
  • Good problem-solving, analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail
  • Experience in using Continual Improvement techniques to help improve service and efficiency

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of Octopus or similar automation tools
  • Experience in monitoring system health and reliability
  • Containerisation experience
  • Experience deploying software into orchestration platforms
