About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Business Advisor to join our Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our client account teams, providing valuable financial expertise to drive business growth and success.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate key findings to stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate in a finance business partnering capacity to support client account teams in making informed decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize business performance.
  • Support the Finance Director - Marketing services in delivering the objectives of the client accounting finance function.
  • Production of period and year-end results for relevant Client Account teams, including producing management analysis and highlighting variances.
  • Business partner with client Account Directors to prepare and analyze the monthly job tracker, identifying significant variances and providing commentary.
  • Post-month end de-brief with Account Directors, focusing on P&L performance, variance analysis, staff costs, and identified risks and opportunities.
  • Regularly review and actively support the Client Account teams to manage working capital, including Sales reserves, aged debt, and WIP.
  • Support the Client Account teams in the timely preparation of forecasts and budgets, reviewing and challenging assumptions.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Account teams, ensuring they are aware of the financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Partake in regular meetings with the Client Account Directors, acting as the prime point of contact for the finance department.
  • Undertake financial analysis and reporting as requested.
Requirements
  • Fully or part-qualified AAT, and/or working towards a formally recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Knowledge of SAGE Intacct, or similar, finance platform preferable but not essential.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
