We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children. You will also be expected to craft engaging activities for the children under your care and demonstrate a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and its practical application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children
  • Craft engaging activities for the children under your care
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and its practical application
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive connections with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Show dedication to delivering top-notch education and support for children growth and development
  • Approach teaching and learning with enthusiasm, creativity, and innovation
  • Be adaptable to provide support to a diverse range of children across various nursery rooms
  • Show a true passion to work with children
  • Have childcare experience
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)
