Maintenance Engineer Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join our team at our Chesterfield site. As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on a range of machinery, including older equipment and new automated PLC controlled systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment
* Carry out repairs and upgrades to machinery and equipment as required
* Work with a small engineering team to achieve maintenance goals
* Plan and implement preventative maintenance tasks
* Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines

**Requirements:**

* Apprentice-trained or Level 3 qualified in a relevant discipline
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in PLC programming (desirable)

**What We Offer:**

* Competitive salary of £47,800 (inclusive of salary, call out & shift pay)
* Monday to Friday 4-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
* Call out coverage every fourth weekend
* Time and a half overtime
* Yearly bonus
* 22 days holiday + bank holidays
* Employer pension contributions 5%
