Senior Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Person's Community Treatment Team in Sunderland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, neuropsychological assessments, formulations, and therapy to older adults.
About the RoleIn this role, you will lead on psychological provision through consultations, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and supervision. You will provide expert advice, consultation, and training to colleagues and other non-professional carers on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based psychological assessments, neuropsychological assessments, formulations, and therapy to older adults
- Lead on psychological provision through consultations, MDTs, and supervision
- Provide advice, consultation, and training to colleagues and other non-professional carers on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology
- HCPC registration
- Knowledge of the theory and practice of specialist psychological therapies in specific difficult-to-treat groups relevant to the client group
- Experience of neuropsychology assessment
