Job OverviewThis is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity offering a competitive pay rate. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products supplied directly from Extrusion.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting the release of medical products and carrying out internal quality audits.
Key Responsibilities- Support the volume coming off the 3rd Slitter running medical.
- Support the release of medical products that will be supplied directly from Extrusion.
- Carry out internal quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5's, hygiene, glass, and insects audits.
- Supervise quality records and retained samples.
- Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations.
- Perform product inspection/testing for materials in quarantine, new materials/development, and others as directed, and report results to the Quality and Technical Manager.
- Input non-conforming material information onto the computer for reporting purposes.
You will also be required to assist in all Quality Areas Cross-Functional and perform general weekend, sickness absence, and holiday cover as required.
**Salary:** £12.4 per hour (42 hours average per week), with overtime available at £15.79 per hour. A bonus scheme offers up to 5% of earnings every quarter.
