Senior Child Protection Practitioner Required

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior qualified social worker to join our team at Entrust Social Care Ltd.

About the Role

This role offers a unique chance to work as part of a dynamic team in children's social work, prioritizing child safety and delivering high-quality assessments and case management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead on assessments and case management services, ensuring timely and effective interventions
  • To develop and implement complex case plans to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cases and activities
  • To provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff members
  • To represent Entrust Social Care Ltd. at court hearings and other professional meetings as required

Working Conditions:

  • 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
  • Temporary contract initially 3 months, with potential for extension or permanent position
  • Start date subject to satisfactory completion of DBS check and reference checks

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Current valid DBS certificate
  • Holding a full UK driving license
