Senior Project Engineer

We seek an accomplished Senior Project Engineer to work at our London office. The ideal candidate should offer strong technical expertise, preferably in engineering disciplines like piping or process, and a full understanding of project scopes in all phases, including project management consultancy.

Key Deliverables

  1. Guaranteeing compliance of engineering solutions with client requirements, industry standards, and Group HSE, engineering processes, and best practices.
  2. Providing knowledge of European, American, and international standards applicable to the petrochemical industry.
  3. Ensuring execution of project deliverables meets project scope requirements as outlined in the project contract.
  4. Developing the project engineering plan and submitting it for review and input from discipline managers and the project manager.
  5. Directing and supporting lead discipline engineers in project execution goals and mandates, ensuring quality and governance requirements are included in the schedule and conducted as required.
  6. Conducting weekly reviews of scheduled tasks for execution and completion, determining problems or obstructions to progress, and meeting with lead discipline engineers to discuss and facilitate solutions.
  7. Providing project direction to design engineering and process engineering lead discipline engineers, managing development, maintenance, and distribution of engineering budget manhours and schedules.
  8. Guaranteeing timely processing of budget, schedule change requests, and revisions to approved budget manhours, logging and communicating to the project manager and client.
  9. Coordinating between technology/engineering/process and project controls to ensure timely delivery and updates to project management tools.
  10. Guiding procurement and construction activities, including technical bid evaluations, requisition packages, vendor document reviews, tests/inspections, sub-contracts, and disposition of nonconformities.
  11. Coordinating with project document control concerning procedures and systems required for a project.
