Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Volunteer Engagement Specialist to join our team at Sja's West. This role will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to engage and empower volunteers within our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing volunteer engagement plans to increase participation and retention.
  • Working closely with local stakeholders and partners to build relationships and secure funding.
  • Leading local events and campaigns to promote volunteerism and first aid awareness.
  • Developing and delivering training and development opportunities for volunteers.

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong track record of developing and implementing successful volunteer engagement plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of first aid principles and practices.
