About the Role

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Senior HIU Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our HVAC engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks related to hydraulic systems, pumping systems, and pipework systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic systems for heating, hot, and cold applications, including knowledge of flow rates and ancillary components.
  • Carrying out maintenance and setup of pumping systems, including invertor-driven pumps.
  • Installation and maintenance of pipework systems, including balancing, commissioning, flow control, and general valves.
  • Installation and maintenance of pressure vessels and pressurisation units.
  • HIU system installation, maintenance, and distribution, including HIU service and maintenance.
  • Pressure testing and fault finding of primary, secondary, and tertiary systems.
  • Providing accurate reporting and recommendations for heat loss improvement and system optimization.
  • Undertaking system drain downs and refills effectively for whole buildings.
  • Replacing pumps, valves, valve components, plates exchangers, and servicing and inspecting them.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a HIU Engineer.
  • Living within commutable distance to Central London.
  • A full UK driving license and clear DBS check.
  • At least 3 years of HIU experience.
