Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Purchasing Team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust as a Procurement and Finance Supervisor.

The role involves supervising the day-to-day operation of Pharmacy Invoicing in line with Trust policies and Standing Financial Instructions, ensuring an auditable, effective, timely, and high-quality service is provided.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to queries regarding invoice payment, credit, and statements from external parties and internal stakeholders, resolving issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the Pharmacy Purchasing Team in administration, operational services, and system development within UHBW.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
  • Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
  • Experience in a hospital pharmacy or financial environment.

Salary: £26,530 - £29,114 pa pro rata. Based on market rates for this position in Bristol, we estimate the salary range to be around £27,500 per annum.
