Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Strategist to develop practice and processes to deliver on our UK sustainability strategy. This role will involve liaison with internal teams, external agencies, customers, and suppliers to establish needs and requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Liaise with external agencies to manage relationships and collect data.
- Complete customer questionnaires related to sustainability.
- Report data to the Group as required.
- Collect, manage, and submit data into software tools, including PRN & EPR declarations.
- Liaise with colleagues and partners internally and externally to collate accurate data.
- Analyse data to deliver key insights and formulate action plans.
- Project manage the sustainability agenda, aligning actions with our sustainability strategy and vision.
- Draft communications to update internally and externally on sustainability progress.
- Stay up-to-date with external developments to remain current and competitive in our strategy and actions.
- Lead on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the UK business.
Person Specification
- Experience in sustainability, project management, and analytical skills.
- A science-based degree would be advantageous.
- Ability to build relationships, influence decision-making, and communicate effectively.
This is a full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Primary work location has step-free access, free onsite parking, and wheelchair-friendly facilities. The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
