Interaction Recruitment are proud to partner with a well-established National plant hire firm, offering an exciting opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Ashford, Surrey.

Salary: £30,000-£32,000 base salary, with the potential to earn up to £50,000 OTE (On Target Earnings).

About the Role:

This is a fantastic chance for an experienced mobile plant fitter to take on a full-time, permanent position as a Plant Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform routine maintenance and repairs of plant machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced mobile plant fitter with a strong background in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities. Previous experience working on engines would be advantageous. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent fault-finding, repair, and service skills.
