Job Title: Team Leader, Landscaping

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £30,000 to £31,000

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Landscaping team in Huntingdon. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising operatives on site, providing landscaping services, and a range of horticultural work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use plans and planting diagrams to accurately create landscaping schemes
  • Identify problems and solutions using your plant and general horticultural knowledge
  • Turfing, barking/mulching, tree and shrub planting, and general horticultural duties as necessary
  • Ensure skips are loaded correctly and safely
  • Record and report completed work
  • Communicate issues or problems with your Line Manager
  • Notify H&S issues, observations, or accidents in line with company procedures
  • Maintain uniform and PPE
  • Ensure vehicles and machinery are in good order and safe to operate
  • Maintain tools and equipment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years previous experience in landscaping
  • Current CSCS Card and driving license
  • Any other qualifications, including SSSTS, PA1/PA6, trailer license, and digger/dumper/tractor tickets, would be useful but are not essential
