Job Title: Resource Manager

At CBS Butler, we are seeking a skilled Resource Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal allocation and utilization of our resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tactical Resource Management: Allocate and move resources to optimize performance, customer satisfaction, and employee morale.
  • Onboarding and Mobilization: Engage with new hires to accelerate their mobilization onto projects and provide an exceptional employee experience.
  • Productive and Customer Funded Utilization (CFU) Performance Management: Maximize CFU while supporting other productive activities with available resources.
  • Directorate Capacity Demand and Supply Management: Act as a bridge between capacity planning and BU Ops teams to validate planning assumptions and mitigate risk.
  • Cross Directorate Optimization and Escalation Management: Facilitate employee mobility, own loan agreements, and manage internal and cross-BU escalations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in operational resourcing in Professional Services or similar Matrix organizations.
  • Experience working in Defence and/or National Security industries.
  • Significant experience in technology sectors, including IT, Software Development, Cyber, AI & ML, Data Science, and Systems Engineering professions.
  • Able to demonstrate comfort with complexity and working with often ambiguous requirements.
  • Regarded as an SME within the stakeholder community and leads on defining approach to operational resourcing within the BU.
