We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Scientist to join our Diagnostic and Technology Evaluation team at the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating diagnostic tests and medical technologies to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead on HRC research projects, conducting evaluations of diagnostic tests and medical devices. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, test developers, and other collaborators, to design and deliver research projects that meet the needs of the UK NHS.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering research projects to evaluate diagnostic tests and medical devices
- Contributing to the development of evaluation research methods and processes
- Working with stakeholders to ensure that research outputs are relevant and useful to the UK NHS
- Developing and implementing quality assurance processes for data management and analysis
- Contributing to HRC DTE professional development activities
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic researcher with a strong background in healthcare science and experience in evaluating medical technologies. You will have a PhD or Masters in a relevant area and expertise in quantitative, statistical, or health economic methods used in device and test evaluation.
