About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to implement treatment plans and therapies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Provide support and assistance to qualified nurses, ensuring a seamless and effective care delivery.
  • Conduct safe observations of patients, either one-to-one or in groups, to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  • Meet the physical and emotional needs of service users, providing a caring and empathetic approach.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for our service users to live and work in.
  • Work within Safeguarding guidelines, ensuring the protection and safety of our service users.
  • Undertake training in de-escalation and PMVA techniques to support patients with potentially violent or aggressive behaviours.
