Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CBRE. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive, and breakdown works across all electrical systems within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all electrical plant, equipment, and systems in accordance with task schedules and asset lists.
  • Complete all reactive tasks throughout the building, proactively highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
  • Ensure electrical plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain all-year uptime.
  • Prepare and use RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervise and monitor sub-contractor works while on site, ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to.
  • Ensure all critical areas, under the responsibility of CBRE, are locked and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Understand business systems, processes, and procedures associated with the site.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Highlight gaps across critical spares to the operations manager.
  • Build and develop relationships with on-site CBRE staff, sub-contractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure the professional image of CBRE is always presented to the client and sub-contractors.
  • Undertake lone working where required.
  • Participate in EOP/SOP scenario-type training and undertake technical assessment tests.
  • Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate relevant knowledge of UPS, Generators, HV, PDU's, CRAC units or equivalent, including the ability to fault-find using graphical information and current alarm data.
  • Hold a formal electrical qualification, BS7671 18th edition regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills, competent across Microsoft Office programs.
  • Good communication etiquette.
  • Strong organisational abilities, ensuring all documentation is stored and auditable.
  • Experience with a CAFM system is desirable.
  • Team player.
  • Able to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Calm manner, able to work under pressure and make sound decisions when needed.
  • Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.
  • Able to work at heights.
Additional Requirements
  • Liaise with external security teams for clearance/vetting.
  • Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the contract and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the contract scope.
  • Actively identify and implement innovation across the contract to enhance performance and continue to exceed the client's expectations.
  • Promote and maintain CBRE work ethics and culture, following the RISE values.
  • High level of trust and integrity while handling confidential information.
  • Obtain full Security Clearance.
  • Company benefits scheme.
  • 25 days holiday, excluding bank holidays, per annum.
