The Verto People company is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment at customer sites across the UK.

This role involves undertaking planned and preventative maintenance, providing advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of hydraulic systems, such as presses, pumps, valves, pipework systems, hydraulic power packs, bolting tools, valves, actuators, lubrication systems, pipework, wheel jacks, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical equipment.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Pipework Engineer, or similar. Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering systems are essential, with hydraulics being a significant advantage.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £35,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. The package also includes a company van, 25 days + bank holidays, a company phone, competitive pension, overtime, and additional benefits.

In this role, you will maintain, repair, and install fluid power equipment at customer sites across the UK. You will also perform emergency breakdowns and repairs on various hydraulic equipment and liaise with various engineering departments.

To be successful in this role, you should have a good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls, mechanical engineering qualifications being advantageous. Full product training will be provided.
