About the Apprenticeship

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the maintenance and servicing of light vehicles in a functioning garage environment.
  2. Work with replacement components, including tyres, brakes, clutches, and gearboxes.
  3. Undertake a Level 2 VCQ Diploma in Light Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Competence.
  4. Complete a Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Light Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles.
  5. Develop essential communication, application of number, and digital literacy skills.

Employment Details

As a full-time apprentice, you will be employed by Bakery Garage and enrolled onto a Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Requirements

  1. No minimum grade requirements.
  2. A real desire to pursue a career in the industry.
  3. Prior experience in motor vehicle maintenance or related activities is desirable.
  4. Punctuality, reliability, and a mature attitude towards the job and training.
  5. Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.

Training and Development

The apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
