Job Description

Mortgage Advisor Specialist Role:

This position involves providing expert advice to customers on mortgage and protection products, helping them achieve their financial goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, customer-driven services to meet individual needs for mortgage and protection products.
  • Establish and grow the mortgage and protection business by identifying customer needs and providing tailored advice and services.
  • Recognise and respond to customers' wider financial planning needs, making referrals to other areas of the bank where necessary.
  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside the immediate business area.
  • Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Hold RO1 / CF1 and CF6 (or CeMAP or equivalent) qualifications.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Seek out and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Meet satisfactory compliance and quality measures.
  • Have experience complying with business processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment.
  • Flexible working arrangements to support operating hours of 8am-8pm Monday –Friday and 9am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage and protection products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
