Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled AV Infrastructure Engineer to support our client's fast-paced team in the design, build, and implementation of VMware and Windows server infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. VMware Server Deployment: Deploy and configure VMware infrastructures (v6 and upwards) based on business and project requirements.
  2. Windows Server Installation & Configuration: Set up, configure, and manage Windows Server environments, ranging from 2008 and upwards.
  3. Virtualization Support: Support and manage virtualized environments, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and scalability.
  4. Data Centre Technology Management: Support the general operations of the data centre, including networking, storage, and security integration with VMware and Windows systems.
  5. Project Engineering: Work closely with project managers and IT teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and project milestones.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all implementations, configurations, and system changes.
  7. Troubleshooting & Support: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to VMware and Windows servers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. SC Clearance: Must have active SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance checks.
  2. VMware Expertise: Proven experience with VMware (v6 and upwards) in a production environment, including experience in managing and troubleshooting virtualized infrastructure.
  3. Windows Server Experience: Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, particularly 2008 upwards (2012, 2016, and beyond), with knowledge of configuration, deployment, and administration.

Location: London 5 Days a week
Clearance Level: SC Clearance required
