About the Role

If you have an NVQ level 3 qualification and proven experience as a Mech/Elec, we'd like to hear from you. We'll take your engineering skills to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable.
  • Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.

Requirements

  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard is essential.
  • PCV licence isn't essential, we can support you in gaining it.
  • Fully conversant with the overhaul and repair of vehicle systems.
  • Fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment.
  • Working experience with diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic skills in gas and electric welding, burning, and basic body repairs.
  • UK resident.
