Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as providing training to other engineers and production employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Follow and adhere to planned maintenance programs
  • Fault find and repair equipment to a satisfactory standard
  • Undertake any machine adjustments within your capabilities
  • Use company equipment in a safe manner
  • Provide training to other engineers and production employees
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues at all times
  • Keep the Engineering Manager informed of any problems encountered
  • Assist in relevant projects and machine modification as required
  • Undertake training offered by the company
  • Ensure effective shift handover and work logging

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Qualified to HNC or HND
  • Computer literate or prepared to train to a satisfactory level

Working Hours: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights – 12 hour shifts

BASIC SALARY: Competitive salary offered to the right candidate
