Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are a leading provider of educational support services, committed to raising the standard of education offered to vulnerable young people in the UK.

We are seeking an experienced SEN tutor to join our team and work with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Nottinghamshire.

As an SEN tutor, you will be working with our team to provide flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Providing support and guidance to young people with MLD and SLD needs
  • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references

The estimated salary for this role is £25-35 per hour, depending on experience.
