Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a two-form entry school in Northolt. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with special educational needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs and be able to plan and deliver interventions to support their academic and emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with our teaching staff to provide support in the classroom and contribute to the development of our SEN unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Provide KS1 and KS2 support across all subjects
  • Assist with after-school clubs, music, or cooking activities
  • Work one-to-one with students as needed
  • Support students with special educational needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and students
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • Ability to plan and deliver interventions for students
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Actively engaged in improving own skills through feedback
Location

The school is located in the heart of Northolt, with easy access to public transport. We have an onsite car park, but spaces are limited.
