About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with an established engineering supplier, providing maintenance and repair services to customers across the region.

Our client is a well-established engineering supplier with over 50 years of experience in the industry. They have gained a reputation for excellence and are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to bolster their team.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy plant equipment, including wheel and track loaders, excavators, shredders, and screens
  • Traveling to customer sites to service and problem-solve on heavy plant equipment
  • Liaising with service team and technical support to resolve issues and order parts
  • Completion and submission of reports
  • Working from hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Working with autonomy

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a field service or electrical maintenance role
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Competence in working with hand tools, including electrical grinders and electric drills
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols
  • An NVQ level 3 in plant maintenance or equivalent
  • A full UK driving license
  • Quarry passport & passport to safety

Benefits

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of £18-£23ph, plus benefits including free on-site parking, accessible via public transport, cooking facilities, and a supportive team environment.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is £35,000 - £43,800 per annum, based on 40 hours per week.
