About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting outstanding progress in learning and making a positive impact on the lives of children.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/young people with SEN/SEMH needs and be educated with GCSE Maths and English. A Level 3 qualification with a desire to complete Level 4 is also desirable. Additionally, a HLTA qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years through our CPD programme is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and supporting students in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Managing student behaviour and providing feedback to teachers
  • Keeping accurate records of student progress and achievements
