Domestic Violence Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children and Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (CYP IDVA) to provide specialist support to victims of domestic abuse in Brighton & Hove.
This is a hybrid role, working from home, the office, and attending meetings and appointments. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to help individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist support to victims of domestic abuse, including children and young people.
- Work closely with local agencies and services to ensure a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, healthcare providers, and social services.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure the well-being of victims and their families.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with victims of domestic abuse, particularly children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop effective safety plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
