We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead our team of up to 12 professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of scalable systems using cloud technology.

A key aspect of this role will be managing high-level design and code reviews, ensuring that our data engineering solutions meet the highest standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a player-manager who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in development.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to develop and grow your skills, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment.

We require someone with extensive experience in data engineering, strong people management skills, and technical expertise across Python, Spark, AWS, Databricks, data modeling, and ETL.

In addition, we need someone who has a solid background in Agile environments and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Based in Edinburgh, you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week spent in our office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of up to 12 data engineers

  • Managing high-performing teams
