This role offers a competitive salary of £90,000 (Negotiable dependent on experience) and a hybrid working arrangement.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading figure in the field of social housing refurbishment and public sector schools. They pride themselves on their commitment to improving communities by providing quality housing and education facilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conducting cost analysis and preparing accurate and timely estimates for construction projects
  2. Assessing material, labour, and time requirements for projects
  3. Reviewing architectural plans and preparing quantity take-offs
  4. Evaluating subcontractor proposals and conducting negotiations
  5. Regularly reporting to higher management on potential cost overruns and savings

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Has a proven track record in Estimator roles, preferably in social housing or education sector
  2. Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Boasts a strong knowledge of construction industry trends and practices
  4. Has a good eye for detail, with strong mathematical and IT skills
