About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our clinical team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload, utilizing advanced MRI technology and equipment.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Responsible for MRI safety, adhering to local rules and regulations, and ensuring a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  • Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs, contributing to the improvement of our services.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers and Imaging Manager, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose, reporting faults in line with Ramsay Health Care Clinical policies.
  • Competency in IV cannulation is essential for this role.
  • Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Comply with all Ramsay Health Care Clinical policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rota, responding promptly to patient needs and ensuring timely interventions.
