About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team at Longhurst Group. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent support services to our customers, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized support to customers, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to customers with complex needs, focusing on their strengths and promoting person-centered care.
  • Manage incidents of anti-social behavior in accordance with our policies and procedures, offering advice and support to maintain tenancies.
  • Effectively record information on our IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • A strong background in a similar role, supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of homelessness and related issues.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to provide advice and support to customers.
  • A full driver's license and access to a vehicle, to travel to customers across North East Lincs.
