About the Role

This is an ongoing contract with a national heating contractor operating within the private sector. You will work independently as a self-employed heating engineer, with a flexible workload and the ability to request additional jobs from our planning team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer, hold ACS qualifications, including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires), and possess a calibrated Flue Gas Analyser. A Panel Van, Gas Safe Registration, and £2m Public Liability Insurance are also required.

Key Benefits
  • Competitive pay rate: £23.00 per completed property for annual service visits, with optional linked repairs at £30.75 plus Annual Service Visit Rate.
  • Flexible workload with 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day, plus the ability to request additional jobs.
  • Weekly payments, with invoices raised on your behalf, reducing administrative tasks.
  • Long-term ongoing contract with consistent regular work throughout the year.
