Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our team at Redwood School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers and leads in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with SEND.
  • Provide specialist support to individual students, small groups, and lead learning activities within an area of specialism.
  • Deliver whole-class teaching cover, including during teacher's PPA time or due to staff absence.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Contribute to the review and assessment of student progress.
