Job Title: Programme Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced Programme Management Lead to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a Programme Management Lead, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of an innovative, advanced technology solution to deliver transformational changes in the space of Production Scheduling across a network of manufacturing sites.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, integrated programme plan, with a focus on value to delivery, distilling complexities across various functional areas into realistic yet ambitious project execution plans.
  • Collaborate with GSC cross-functional teams, including Scheduling Process Owners, Tech teams, Procurement, Global Capital Project, Finance, Supply chain transformation programme, Site Logistics / Scheduling / Operations, as well as multiple third-party vendors, to ensure alignment of objectives and integration of the transformation programme.
  • Ensure that detailed project and workstream plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, cost/spend control mechanisms are in-place, with clear expectations of the standard of the outcomes, and de-risked.
  • In support of the Programme Lead, facilitate regular programme governance and team performance meetings - providing updates, resolving issues, identifying risks, ensuring actions items are addressed, communicating progress and sharing achievements to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability across the Leads/PMOs from the multi-function/vendor team. Create the climate for continuous improvement way of working and drive problem-solving with the most appropriate solution considering cost and business needs for the short and long term.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Programme management skills/qualifications, with direct experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, particularly supply chain management, site functional management
  • Technology solution deployment programme management experience
