Job Title: Principal Software Configuration Manager

Location: Various locations across the UK, with flexible working arrangements available.

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans and processes
  • Support the design and implementation of configuration management and release processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software products
  • Coach and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant STEM subject
  • Relevant configuration management standards and experience
  • Practical knowledge of configuration management toolsets
  • Release management experience

Desirable:

  • Registered as CEng or able to demonstrate eligibility
  • Systems and engineering lifecycle models
  • Configuration auditing experience
