Reliability Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Systems Engineer to join our Dependability Team at AWE. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist systems engineering support to technically challenging projects to ensure the reliability and availability of our core products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide specialist support to core AWE projects to ensure that our products are dependable throughout their lifetime.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of our product while enhancing systems and dependability engineering knowledge.
  3. Liaise with stakeholders, undertake analysis, and produce technical reports and/or presentations.
  4. Apply systems engineering knowledge to system requirements, reliability architecture, and system simulation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to write high-quality technical reports and presentations.
  • Ability to contribute to the planning and execution of tasks in order to deliver specific agreed objectives on time, demonstrating awareness of cost, quality, and timeliness of engineering output.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.
Desirable Skills:
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills, including the use of Enterprise Architect and DOORS.
  • Understanding of reliability and life analysis statistics.
  • Elicitation and development of requirements for complex projects or systems.
