Lead Substance Misuse Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Substance Misuse Nurse to join our specialist Substance Misuse Clinic in Croydon, South London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for Substance Misuse treatment to contribute to the UK's leading provider in this field.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be working in a busy detoxification clinic, providing front-line clinical care to service users, including a thorough rehabilitation process.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, promoting health and wellbeing, and supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing teams
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to address substance misuse
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary

Requirements:

  • RGN or RMN qualification with relevant experience
  • Demonstrable experience or interest in addictions
  • Titration experience is highly desirable
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
