Senior Civil/Geotechnical Design Engineer - Mine Waste

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil/Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our Mine Waste team in London, UK.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in geotechnical design and experience in the mining industry, particularly in mine waste management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing geotechnical design projects, developing design solutions, and providing technical expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions for mine waste management projects
  • Lead and manage geotechnical design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and designers
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geotechnical design and mine waste management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in geotechnical design and the mining industry
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of geotechnical design principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
