Job Title: Medical Technical Support Engineer

Oncology Systems Limited is a leading supplier of state-of-the-art radiotherapy solutions to the oncology healthcare sector, serving both NHS and private hospitals in the UK & Ireland.

We are seeking a self-motivated support engineer to provide comprehensive service support for our portfolio of products installed in the UK & Ireland and for our distribution network.

The ideal candidate will be based anywhere in the UK and will require extensive travel throughout the UK & Ireland, as well as some overseas travel. A full, clean British driving license is essential.

The role involves the day-to-day service support of a range of radiotherapy and imaging software and electro-mechanical equipment, including installation, upgrade, preventative and reactive maintenance, and repair of systems both remotely and at customer sites.

The service team often provides introductory training for customers, which may include radiotherapy physicists, radiographers, and medical doctors.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a tight-knit multidisciplinary team.

Suitable candidates will have an engineering background together with working experience in computer and network systems. Experience of working in a hospital or similar environment is desirable, although extensive product training will be provided.

This is a key customer-facing role requiring excellent organisational, communication, and customer relation skills.
